EDGE Don't Miss Events
DEEPER
A discipleship process designed to help the new convert as well as challenge the seasoned Christian. Usually begins in February and lasts until the end of April. Challenge yourself to go DEEPER with God than you have ever been!
Divide into teams to help raise money for our state youth department and also help send our students to camp and convention. A great way to earn Prizes and Cash.
 YOUTH CONVENTION
Always a big event, with over 3,000 students from across the state gathering for one big youth service. One of the years most well attended youth trips!
State competition in May and nationals in August. A chance for our students to develop and enhance their talents and skills in a number of different categories and events.
 YOUTH CAMP
A summer event that lasts one week, but, the results last a lifetime. Where most of our students get filled with the spirit, called to preach, and challenged to go beyond the casual walk with God.
DESTIN BEACH RETREAT
On the beach in a 5 star resort. Enough said! Really this is a powerful retreat focused on the friends and family aspect of our ministry. The highlight of our year, for me personally. Also have incredible church services each night.. The worship is amazing
OUT OF SCHOOL CRAWFISH BOIL
We invite the church board and all the Pastoral staff to come and hangout with the youth group at a crawfish feast. We boil over 200 pounds and host it at one of the
Lake
houses in our church. Boats and jet skis are always a must and over 120 youth attend this yearly event.
HOME INVASION S
We target different homes in our church to hang out in at different times of the year. Always a BIG party and lots of fun and of course food!
Starts in September during the first Semester of school. The small group ministry of EDGE. We usually break into our Connect Groups and go through a book of the Bible or another great youth topic.
BLOWOUT EDGE
Only in August, September, October, and November. This is friendship evangelism at its finest. Always have a big service planned for that Wednesday and a numeric goal that we try to reach. Services like CAMMO Night /// TOUCH your world Night /// and lots of fun services.
CHRISTMAS PARTY
A major event to close out the year. We play crazy games, exchange gifts and we release the EDGE year in review DVD.
GUYS AND GIRLS NITE OUT
A nite just for the fellas and just for the ladies. The guys usually go camping with 4 wheelers and lots of food, and the girls do different sleep-overs at various houses.
A great nite to be YOU without the pressure of impressing the opposite gender. Great Connect nite.
PRAYER TIMES
Summer prayer is every MWF @ 9am when school lets out. A great way to go deeper with God and we always hangout at the church afterward.
School Fuel Prayer is every Monday @ 6:30am when school is in session. This is the best way you can start off your week of school.
