I have a few suggestions:

1) needs to be a few sub categories. Areas such as Christian Living, Bible Topics, Questions, Church Business, & New Members Area.

2) You will eventually need off topic areas like: Vacations & Hobbies, Photo Galery, Off-topic Discussions. People will want to talk about things with church friends that wouldn't normally go to a religious discussion board.

3) Moderators. You will need people who frequent the net at all hours of the day or night to police for things like trolling, flaming, posts in the wrong area, threads that degrade into arguements, etc...

4) Really need a different text color to contrast with the background. Typically white with a dark color such as this will work better.

thank you for your input. this is pastor daniel. we don't have control over the font color-so I'll talk to the hosts to see what they can do. as to the other stuff, we'll have to see what the demand is. someone would have to want to take that on-moderating, keeping up with posts, etc. Don't have that person at present.

I'm on any number of boards. They range from semi-monthly activity to thousands of posts per month. A lot depends on the computer use by the members... well that and I just happened to stumble on the site vs being told it was available.
